WDF POS System #1000 Ships to Lau Family in Bay Shore, NY
The thousandth system went to a family with nearly 30 years of laundromat ownership behind it, nine years after the first three were installed at Liberty Laundry.
Broken Arrow, Okla. — March 1, 2025 — Brian Henderson deployed the first three Wash-Dry-Fold POS® systems as a practical way to manage employees at Liberty Laundry, his family’s chain of laundromats in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. After nine years of steady product growth, Wash-Dry-Fold POS has now sold its 1,000th point-of-sale system, to the Lau family, who own laundromats in Bay Shore, New York, including the Laundry Depot.
What the thousandth owner uses it for
“I have it in multiple stores now and I can just check on my phone to make sure my employees are clocked-in when they said they would be. The dashboard shows when they clock in, what orders they’re working on, the work they’ve already done… it’s like having a little manager that is constantly keeping me up-to-date in all my locations.”
Lau — Owner, Laundry Depot, Bay Shore, New York
The Lau family has nearly 30 years of laundromat ownership behind it and has been an early adopter of store technology throughout. The business has grown in revenue and efficiency year over year, partnering with Brian Grell of Eastern Funding to expand into nearby markets and to put coinless systems into multiple locations.
Running coinless alongside the POS
“I’ve recently gone coinless with Laundroworks in some of my stores and the Wash-Dry-Fold POS integrates perfectly and acts as a sort of backup VAC, so it pays for itself with that function alone. But, it also keeps the employees honest and productive when I’m out of the store which increases the amount of revenue we can reinvest in the business. Once you get it in place, you can’t go without it.”

The Laundroworks integration is one of several that let a store keep the card system it already installed. What the POS adds on top is the record: which attendant was on, which order a machine start belongs to and what the reports say about the shift.
