Part 1: Find Location ID in FasCard

Log in to FasCard’s admin site. Click the “System” tab. Find the Location ID in the “ID” column of the store where your POS computer is installed. Write down the Location ID and keep it nearby for later reference.

Part 2: Create A POS User Account in FasCard

Click the “Users” tab. Scroll to the bottom of the list of users and click the “Add New POS” button.

No special configuration is needed. Click the “Save” button.

A password will be automatically generated after you click the “Save” button. Write down the POS user email address and generated password for later reference. Do not navigate away from this screen until you have done so.

Part 3: Create POS Equipment Type & a New POS Machine in FasCard

Click the “Setup” tab and then the “Equipment Types” sub-tab. Scroll to the bottom of the list of equipment types and click the “Add New” button.

Select “Point-of-Sale” from the New Equip Type dropdown that appears. Click the “Save” button.

While still on the “Setup” tab, click the “Machines” sub-tab. Click the “Add New” button at the top of the list of machines.

The new machine must have a unique Machine Number, and “Point-of-Sale” selected in the Equipment Name dropdown. Installed Date and Last Service Date are also required fields, but they will already be filled in with the current date. No other configuration is needed.

Click the “Save” button. Write down the machine number for later reference.

Part 4: Enter Credentials into Wash-Dry-Fold POS

Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the WDF POS app. Select Store Settings from the options that appear. You will be asked to enter your admin or manager password.

Click the Card System tab. Select FasCard from the dropdown menu.

Enter all the information you collected and wrote down from the FasCard admin site. Click the “Save” button, and you are done!
