Rebecca Clay Joins Wash-Dry-Fold POS
The new hire spent her first days folding laundry and running the POS as an attendant at Liberty Laundry before taking a single customer call.
Broken Arrow, Okla. — August 1, 2023 — In response to increased demand for its hardware, software and credit card processing, Wash-Dry-Fold POS has added Rebecca Clay to its team.
Training on the floor first
Immediately after hire, Clay went through hands-on training as a laundromat attendant at Liberty Laundry, where Wash-Dry-Fold POS was originally developed. The point is that she understands the daily routine of the people she now talks to, rather than reading about it.
“I’ve been folding clothes, using the POS system, and learning the ins and outs of helping self-serve laundromat customers. The ladies I’ve been working with are amazing!”
Rebecca Clay — Wash-Dry-Fold POS®
“Wash-Dry-Fold POS helps real laundromat owners solve actual everyday problems in their laundromats. That’s why every person on our staff needs experience working in a high revenue laundromat.”
Ian Gollahon — Co-Founder, Wash-Dry-Fold POS®
A banking background at the counter
Clay comes from banking, where she handled sensitive payment information, and has also managed a local business and handled administrative work at a local university. That combination matters on a product where the same conversation can move from a jammed receipt printer to a chargeback to a commercial account’s billing cycle.
Coverage
Wash-Dry-Fold POS provides point-of-sale and management software for laundromats, covering wash-dry-fold, pickup and delivery, commercial accounts, retail and till management, attendant workflows and reporting. Based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, it was built by laundromat owners for the owners and teams who use it every day, and it integrates with the machines and card systems stores already run.
