No More Excuses, Just Clean Floors: New Attendant Checklist Feature
Shift checklists with time-stamped, per-employee completion, plus a monthly maintenance list, live to every user with no upgrade required.
Broken Arrow, Okla. — April 7, 2025 — Wash-Dry-Fold POS® has released an Attendant Checklist feature. It covers an opening shift, a mid shift and a closing shift, plus a monthly maintenance checklist, and every completed task is time-stamped to the employee who completed it. Owners can watch a checklist live from a phone or open a past shift to see what was missed and by whom.
The problem it addresses
Mopping the floors, emptying the lint traps, wiping down machines. Routine tasks turn into a blame game when nothing records who did them, and the owner ends up playing detective over a dirty floor that has already produced a negative review. The issue is less the floor than the accountability.
How the checklists work
- ●Shift-specific checklists. Opening, mid-day and closing, each with its own tasks: clean drain traps, restock soap, mop the floor, take the trash out.
- ●Time-stamped completion. Every finished task records the time and the employee who finished it.
- ●Monthly maintenance. Air vents, dryer gaskets, fire extinguisher inspections and other semi-regular jobs get tracked the same way, so they stop falling through the cracks.
- ●Live status. The current state of a checklist is visible across the organization, and past shifts stay readable.
- ●Cloud-based and mobile. Progress is viewable from home, from another store or from anywhere else.
The checklist record sits next to the other operational history in the system, including machine repair tracking and the shift reporting, so a maintenance task and the machine it was performed on end up in the same place.
What it changed for one multi-store operator
“Our team absolutely loves the new checklists feature. It automatically records the times and dates of task completion, eliminating the need for our laundry attendants to handwrite their logs. With the ability for managers to remotely access checklists across 20+ locations, we’re saving a lot of both paper and time. It’s made our process more efficient and cost-effective.”
Hope Dewlen — multi-store laundromat operator
The feature is live now for every Wash-Dry-Fold POS user, with no waiting and no upgrade step.
