Brand Refresh: New Logo and Website
A new logo, a new favicon and a rebuilt website, with the WDF POS shorthand that owners already use in Facebook groups made official.
Broken Arrow, Okla. — January 1, 2024 — The Wash-Dry-Fold POS® logo has been a desktop computer sitting on a washer, in navy blue and off-white, since the company started in 2016. It is being replaced. The refresh covers a new logo and favicon, a refreshed palette and a completely rebuilt website.
Where WDF POS came from
The new mark embraces something owners did on their own. WDF POS is the acronym that spread through laundromat Facebook groups as shorthand for Wash-Dry-Fold POS, and it now has a clean blue treatment of its own for the places where the full logo or company name does not fit.
The old logo described a desktop computer because that is what the product was. The current product is modern hardware and cloud-based software, so the identity had drifted from the thing it was labelling.
A rebuilt website
The public site at washdryfoldpos.com has been rebuilt rather than restyled, with a clearer path from a specific problem to the report or screen that handles it.
Coverage
Wash-Dry-Fold POS provides point-of-sale and management software for laundromats, covering wash-dry-fold, pickup and delivery, commercial accounts, retail and till management, attendant workflows and reporting. Based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, it was built by laundromat owners for the owners and teams who use it every day, and it integrates with the machines and card systems stores already run.
